Wednesday, September 25, 2024, an important hearing on the matter of Citizens for Chiquita Canyon Closure v. County of Los Angeles will be held in Department 82 at Stanley Mosk Courthouse. Judge Goorvitch will hear arguments on whether citizens have the right to challenge the County permitting and approving the Landfill to store, treat, dispose of, and otherwise handle hazardous waste without an environmental impact report or consideration of mitigation measures or alternatives.
