“EPA Meeting Regarding Chiquita Canyon Landfill Ends With Upset Residents”

“After hearing what actions were to be taken, residents showed their frustrations during the Q&A portion of the meeting with lawyer and  Val Verde Civic Association Projects Director Oshea Orchid starting things off.

“At this point, we’re having a health crisis; why is L.A. County not doing more? Why are they not shutting down the landfill and why are they not looking at an emergency declaration for our community,” said Orchid.”
