“Chiquita Canyon Landfill Announces Closure Of Solid Waste Operations”

“Chiquita Canyon Landfill will no longer be accepting solid waste as the landfill closes “active waste disposal operations,” effective Jan. 1, 2025.

In a letter addressed to the Chiquita Canyon Landfill Community Advisory Committee (CAC), landfill administrators noted that Dec. 31, 2024 will be the last day that Chiquita accepts incoming “solid waste.””
